Face Impact Location for Mevo+ Pro Package
Face Impact Location for Mevo+ Pro Package
Software upgrade for the Mevo + Pro Package
Face Impact Location is now available for Mevo + Pro Package users. Take advantage of this unique new feature in the FS Golf App to work on consistently making contact in the center of the club face. Face Impact Location gives users the opportunity to work on accuracy and consistency with wedges, irons, and woods. Improve your performance with instant feedback on every shot.
Face Impact Location
View the precise location of impact for every club and compare it to the data for that shot. Face Impact Location also adds two additional data parameters: lateral impact and vertical impact.
Select Face Impact Location as a data parameter on the Trajectory screen in the FS Golf App, or select it as the only screen you see. You can also utilize the entire D-Plane dataset with Face Impact Location to analyze every aspect of your swing and discover areas of improvement.
Heat Mapping Visualization
Heat mapping visualization provides a visual distribution of impact location for a specific club over the entire session. The heat map is designed to give users a face impact overview for an entire session.
Review your entire session and see exactly where on the club face you strike most. Heat Mapping Visualization works for every club in a given session.
Shot grouping allows users to see their face impact location for every shot in that session. Get a complete picture of accuracy and consistency for every club in your bag.
View all shots to see how consistent your strikes are on the club face.
Face Impact Location is available for Mevo + Pro Package users only. You must have a Mevo + Pro Package add-on, or in the process of purchasing one in order for Face Impact Location to work with your unit.

How does Mevo+ capture 3D ball tracking?
Mevo+ is a low power Doppler radar using phased antenna array technology to detect and track golf ball launch and flight.
It measures the speed of the ball, as well as the position of the ball as it progresses along its flight path.
Sophisticated mathematical estimators are used to track the ball even under adverse conditions, using the physics of ball flight to overcome random noise and fading conditions experienced in the real world.
The phased array technology also picks up tiny variations in the Doppler signals caused by the spinning motion of the ball, enabling direct measurement of the ball spin rate.
How does Mevo+ capture 3D club tracking?
Mevo+’s low power Doppler radar uses phased antenna array technology to detect and track club swings.
It measures the speed of the club as well as its position along its curved path of motion.
Sophisticated mathematical methods are used to follow the club along its trajectory and determine important measures such as swing plane angle, attack angle, and path, apart from club speed at impact.
How does Mevo+ capture spin measurement?
Mevo+’s phased array Doppler technology has four independent receivers picking up the tiny variations in the signals reflected from the spinning ball. These variations are measured and combined to provide the measured spin rate of the ball.
When used indoors with limited ball flight distance, it becomes harder to measure the spin rate because the ball may execute only a small number of rotations before being stopped by a screen or net. Therefore reflective stickers are needed to enhance the signal variations due to ball spin, making measurement possible.
